Get ready for a night of latkes, beer, indoor golf, and other Chanukah fun in Coral Springs.
Chabad Young Professionals of Coral Springs is holding the “Chanukah Candles & Clubs” party on Monday, Dec. 11. Young Jewish professionals in their 20s and 30s from across South Florida are encouraged to attend and celebrate the holiday with festivities that will include a menorah lighting, presents, open bar, and more.
The event will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in Coral Springs. Attendees will be sent the event location and more details after they purchase a ticket. Early bird tickets cost $20. Tickets purchased after Dec. 4 cost $35, and those purchased after Dec. 9 cost $45. No tickets will be sold at the door, and there will be security at the event.
According to the invitation, festivities will include a latke bar where attendees can chow down on latkes and choose their own toppings; an unlimited open bar with kosher wines and beers; the lighting of a “unique custom-built beer menorah;” fresh donuts from one of South Florida’s top kosher bakeries; and indoor golf (not mini golf).
There will also be a “Secret Maccabee” event where attendees will receive “surprise” presents. Men should bring a present that costs under $10 wrapped in pink and swap it with one in blue from a “Maccabee Shelf.” Women should do the same, but wrap their presents in blue and grab a pink present.
