This is a summary of Tamarac crime events through June 3, 2024, compiled through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with the residents.
Theft
A victim of Theft – All Other was reported on 05/30/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,500. The victim extended the courtesy of lending his phone to an unknown perpetrator. However, the offender abruptly absconded with the device, fleeing the scene on foot.
A victim of Theft – All Other was reported on 05/29/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,200. The unknown subject stole the victim’s phone.
A victim of Theft – Bicycle was reported on 05/28/2024. The total estimated loss was $800. A bicycle was stolen from the front of the store.
A victim of Theft—All Other was reported on 05/29/2024. The total estimated loss was $500. A stolen wallet was also reported.
A victim of Auto Theft was reported on 05/30/2024. The total estimated loss was $390. The victim reported an unknown suspect(s) stole his vehicle.
Walmart was the victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on N Pine Island Road was reported on 05 /29/2024. The total estimated loss was $249.
A victim of Auto Theft was reported on 05/29/2024. An auto theft investigation was conducted based on a known suspect report.
Fire
A victim of Fire was reported on 05/28/2024. The victim advised her stove caught fire.
Property Damage
Family Mart Of Tamarac was the victim of Property Damage on N University Drive was reported on 05/29/2024. An unknown suspect used a wine bottle to shatter the window of the business.
A victim of Property Damage was reported on 05/29/2024. A broken living room window from a golf ball was reported.
Information
Information was reported on 05/29/2024. Fire Rescue made entry into the incorrect residence.
Fraud
A victim of Fraud—Credit Card/ATM —was reported on 05/29/2024. The total estimated loss was $6,800. The victim stated that someone was using her identity to open new accounts.
A victim of Fraud – All Other was reported on 05/30/2024. The total estimated loss was $400. The reporter wanted to report that an unknown subject hacked into his cousin’s social media account and requested money, and he sent it.
Animal Abuse
A victim of Animal Abuse / Neglect was reported on 05/30/2024. The suspect was walking his dog when it collapsed due to heat exhaustion/heat stroke.
Burglary
A victim of Burglary Conveyance was reported on 05/31/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,640. The complainant advised that he left his car window down and an unknown male reached through his window and took his bag containing various items.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance was reported on 05/30/2024. The total estimated loss was $350.
Arrests

Clark, Scott Herbert, 31, was arrested on a charge of Burglary – Unoccupied Dwelling Unarmed on 05/30/2024.
Debrosse, Dondreack Alexis, 27, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike / Battery / Domestic Violence on
05/31/2024.
Hall, Lekimo Nigia, 46, was arrested on a charge of Drive While License Suspended 3 Or Subsequent Offence on 06/02/2024.
Saintphard, Edmone, 36, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike / Battery / Domestic Violence on 06/02/2024.
