Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through July 29.

Elderly Abuse /Neglect

An 84-year-old male was the victim of Elderly Abuse /Neglect on Holiday Springs Blvd was reported on 07/25/2023.

A 76-year-old female was the victim of Elderly Abuse / Neglect on Lakeside Drive was reported on:07/26/2023.

Battery

A 22-year-old female was the victim of Battery on SW 6 Street was reported on 07/25/2023.

A 62-year-old male was the victim of Battery on NW 59 Avenue was reported on 07/29/2023.

A 35-year-old male was the victim of Battery on NW 80th Avenue was reported on 07/30/2023.

Robbery By Sudden Snatching

A 35-year-old male was the victim of Robbery By Sudden Snatching on N State Road 7 was reported on 07/25/2023. The total estimated loss was: $35.

Fraud – Credit Card / Atm

A 50-year-old male was the victim of Fraud – Credit Card / Atm on Margate Blvd was reported on 07/25/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,660.

All Arrestable Traffic Violations

All Arrestable Traffic Violations Not Dui at 500 Rock Island Road was reported on 07/25/2023.

A 28-year-old male was the victim of All Arrestable Traffic Violations Not Dui on W Atlantic Blvd was reported on 07/26/2023.

An 18-year-old male was the victim of All Arrestable Traffic Violations Not Dui on W Atlantic Blvd – E Palm Drive was reported on 07/28/2023.

Suspicious Incident

A suspicious Incident at 609 S State Road 7 was reported on 07/25/2023.

A suspicious Incident on Kathy Court was reported on 07/26/2023.

A suspicious Incident at 6000 NW 7th Street was written on 07/26/2023.

A suspicious Incident on SW 54 Avenue was reported on 07/29/2023.

Criminal Mischief

A 42-year-old female was the victim of Criminal Mischief at Merrick Lane was reported on 07/26/2023.

Theft – Retail / Shoplifting

Sam Ash Music Inc was the victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on W Sample Road was reported on 07/27/2023. The total estimated loss was: $900.

Resist Arrest

A victim of Resist Arrest on W Atlantic Blvd/Rock Island Road was reported on 07/28/2023.

Aggravated Assault

A victim of Aggravated Assault on N State Road 7 was reported on 07/30/2023.

Theft – All Other

Caufua Management was the victim of Theft – All Other on W Atlantic Blvd was reported on 07/31/2023. The total estimated loss was: $295.

Jackson, Mallory, Chisseko, 41, was arrested on a Vehicle Theft Grand Theft Of Motor Vehicle charge at 4900 Coconut Creek Parkway on 07/28/2023.

Kinder, Cadarrall, Edward, Hugiene, 26, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault -Weapon-W Deadly Weapon Without Intent To Kill at 1388 N State Road 7 on 07/30/2023.
