Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through June 17.

Theft – Retail / Shoplifting

Walmart was the victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on W Atlantic Blvd was reported on: 06/13/2023. The total estimated loss was: $349.

Theft – All Other

A 50-year-old female was the victim of Theft – All Other on S State Road 7 was reported on: 06/13/2023. The total estimated loss was: $3,501.

A 35-year-old female was the victim of Theft- All Other on N State Road 7, reported on 06/15/2023. The total estimated loss was: $500.

Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts

Concord Evangelical Church was the victim of Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts on SW 7 Street, reported on 06/18/2023. The total estimated loss was: $600.

Suspicious Incident

A suspicious Incident on NW 21 Court was reported on: 06/13/2023. The total estimated loss was: $2,045.

A suspicious Incident on Toscana Place was reported on: 06/14/2023. The total estimated loss was: $208.

A suspicious Incident on W Sample Road was reported on: 06/13/2023. The total estimated loss was: $51.

Fraud-All Other

A 29-year-old female was the victim of Fraud-All Other on NW 10. Court was reported on: 06/13/2023. The total estimated loss was: $886.

An 18-year-old male was the victim of Fraud- All Other on Winfield Blvd was reported on: 06/14/2023. The total estimated loss was: $300.

Burglary Conveyance

A 47-year-old male was the victim of a Burglary Conveyance on NW 18 Street, reported on 06/14/2023.

A 40-year-old female was the victim of a Burglary Conveyance on NW 80 Avenue, reported on 06/17/2023. The total estimated loss was: $901.

A 32-year-old male victim of Burglary Conveyance on Bayberry Way was reported on: 06/14/2023. The total estimated loss was: $730. 

Auto Theft

A 68-year-old female was the victim of Auto Theft on SW 56 Avenue was reported on: 06/14/2023. 

Battery

A 30-year-old female was the victim of Battery on Lakeside Drive was reported on: 06/15/2023.

A 23-year-old male was the victim of Battery on NW 23rd Street was reported on: 06/16/2023.

A 23-year-old female was the victim of Battery on Pinewalk Drive N was reported on: 06/17/2023.

Weapons Violations – All Others

A victim of Weapons Violations – All Others on Rock Island Road was reported on: 06/16/2023.

Elderly Abuse / Neglect

An 84-year-old male was the victim of Elderly Abuse / Neglect on SW 77 Terrace was reported on: 06/19/2023. 

Arrests

Ashman, Renee, Camille, 39, was arrested on the charge of Warrant Contribute Delinq Minor-Parent Fail To Require School Attendance at 301 NW 69 Terrace on 06/14/2023.

Floyd, John, Camel, 27, was arrested on the charge of Warrant Battery -Cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence at 5780 Lakeside Drive on 06/15/2023.

Bacchus, Kevin, Anthony, 37, was arrested on the Warrant Drive While Lie Susp Habitual Offender charge at 6800 SW 7 Street on 06/15/2023.

Haytasingh, Reno, Rohan, 40, was arrested on the Warrant Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence charge at NW 23rd Street on 06/16/2023.

Jones, Cory, Omarr, 42, was arrested on the charge of Warrant at 5790 Margate Blvd on 06/17/2023.
