Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through October 2.

Theft

A 47-year-old male was the victim of Theft All Other on S State Road 7 on 09/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $33,761.

Snipes was the victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on W Atlantic Blvd on 09/27/2023. The total estimated loss was $115.

Auto Theft

A 55-year-old male was the victim of Auto Theft on NW 79 Avenue on 09/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $8,000.

A 32-year-old male was the victim of Auto Theft on SW 1 Street on 09/29/2023.

Burglary

A 65-year-old male was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on S State Road 7 on 09/30/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,000.

An 88-year-old male was the victim of a Burglary Building/Structure on NW 1 Street on 09/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,200.

A 50-year-old female was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on SW 65 Avenue on 09/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $340.

A 32-year-old male was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on Parkway Drive S on 09/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $100.

A 74-year-old female was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on NW 76 Avenue on 09/27/2023. The total estimated loss was $100.

A 39-year-old female was the victim of Burglary Residence on SW 11 Street on 09/26/2023.

A 73-year-old female was the victim of Elderly Abuse / Neglect on NW 29 Court on 09/29/2023.

Kidnapping / False Imprisonment

A 21-year-old female was the Kidnapping / False Imprisonment victim on SW 56 Avenue on 09/30/2023.

Arrests

Raymondvil, Olvins, Michael, 37, was arrested on a charge of Burglary Dwelling Occupied/Unarmed/No Assault Battery on SW 11 Street on 09/26/2023.

Johnson, Nicholas, Tyler, 24, was arrested on a Robbery By Sudden Snatching W/O Firearm Or Weapon charge at 3300 NW 62 Avenue on 09/26/2023.

Morris, Adrian, Odean, 29, was arrested on an Aggravated Battery of a pregnant victim charge on N Lakewood Circle on 09/26/2023.

Genard, Christopher, Dolpheus, 30, was arrested on a Larceny Petit Theft 2 Degree 1 Offense charge at 4701 Coconut Creek Parkway on 09/28/2023.

Michaud, Mikemsonn, 34, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence charge at 617 S State Road 7 on 09/29/2023.

Murphy, Michael, Francis, 52, was arrested on a charge of Kidnap-False Imprisonment-Adult at SW 56 Avenue on 09/30/2023.

Bethel, Mickarlos, Akiel, 28, was arrested on a Resist Officer-Obstruct W/O Violence charge at 5900 NW 31 Street on 09/30/2023.

Bowman, Gregory, Scott, 56, was arrested on a charge of Battery-Cause Bodily Harm at 5485 W Atlantic Blvd on 09/30/2023.

Ferra, Ramon, Jose, 26, was arrested on a Battery-Cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence charge at 5800 Margate Blvd on 10/01/2023.

Francois, Rodger, 20, was arrested on a Battery-Cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence charge at 4850 W Atlantic Blvd on 10/01/2023.
