Job Fair Brings Thousands of Employment Opportunities to Sunrise

Job seekers across South Florida will have the chance to meet with dozens of employers when the JobNewsUSA Job Fair returns to Sunrise on Thursday, Aug. 27.

The free hiring event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Amerant Bank Arena, One Panther Parkway. Admission and parking are free.

Organizers say thousands of jobs will be available, with employers representing law enforcement, health care, hospitality, education, financial services, government, technology and other industries.

Among the companies and organizations scheduled to attend are Broward Health, CareerSource Broward, the City of Sunrise, Sunrise Police Department, Boca Raton Police Services Department, Florida Department of Corrections, Seminole Public Safety Department, Champion, Enterprise Mobility, New York Life Insurance, Tropical Financial, Teleperformance, Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort and Massey Services.

The U.S. Army and U.S. Navy are also scheduled to participate, along with the Florida Panthers and Amerant Bank Arena, Miami Dolphins, Cox Media Group Miami, Common Healthcare, PC Professor and several other employers.

Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared to speak directly with recruiters about available positions.
