Harbor Freight has opened a new store in Sunrise, expanding its presence in Broward County and creating dozens of new jobs.
The store, which opened Jan. 27, is located at 12605 W. Sunrise Blvd. It carries Harbor Freight’s full lineup of exclusive tools and equipment, serving professional contractors, technicians, homeowners, and hobbyists.
Known for offering professional-grade tools at lower prices, Harbor Freight serves more than 75 million customers nationwide. The company designs its tools with a team of engineers and industry experts, aiming to meet or exceed professional standards while keeping costs down.
“We’re excited to continue growing our footprint with the opening of our new store in Sunrise,” said Richard Schneider, the store’s manager. “Each new store represents our commitment to making professional-quality tools and equipment more convenient and accessible for hardworking customers nationwide.”
Harbor Freight stores are designed to be smaller and easier to navigate than traditional big-box home improvement centers, a model the company says helps make shopping faster and more convenient. The Sunrise store is one of more than 1,600 locations nationwide, including 91 in Florida.
The company hired locally for the new store, adding an estimated 25 to 30 jobs and contributing to Harbor Freight’s more than 1,150 associates statewide.
