Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through August 7.

Battery – Simple Touch/Strike

A 29-year-old female was the victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike in Banyan Bay was reported on 08/01/2023.

Theft – From Motor Vehicle

A 54-year-old male was the victim of Theft – From Motor Vehicle at Chase Bank on N State Road 7 was reported on 08/03/2023. The total estimated loss was $16,267. A vehicle was broken into, and several items were stolen.

A 24-year-old female was the victim of Theft – From Motor Vehicle at Indigo Lakes St Croix on NW 53 Circle was reported on 08/01/2023.

A 29-year-old female was the victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Carrington on N State Road 7 was reported on 08/04/2023. The total estimated loss was $800.

A 58-year-old male was the victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Broadstone Cypress on W Hillsboro Blvd was reported on 08/06/2023.

A 39-year-old male was the victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Karanda III on Cocoplum Circle was reported on 08/07/2023. The vehicle was stolen overnight.

Windsor Coconut Creek Apartments was the victim of Vehicle Theft – Other on Lyons Road was reported on 08/07/2023. The total estimated loss was $10,000. The suspect took a golf cart from the clubhouse and crashed it into the bushes.

Flee/Elude Law Enforcement

A victim of Flee/Elude Law Enforcement on W Atlantic Blvd was reported on 08/01/2023.

Fraud – Other

A 79-year-old female was the victim of Fraud – Other at Wynmoor was reported on 08/07/2023. The total estimated loss was $12,350. An unknown subject obtained cash from the victim.

Sun’n Lake Of Sebring Improvement was the victim of Fraud – Other at Regions Banks on Coconut Creek Parkway was reported on 8/01/2023.

Criminal Mischief – Other

Sabal Pines Park was the victim of Criminal Mischief – Other on NW 39 Avenue was reported on 08/01/2023.

Worthless Check/Obtain Property

Wynmoor was the victim of Fraud – Worthless Check/Obtain Property on Avenue Of The Stars was reported on 08/01/2023

Theft – Retail/Shoplifting

Walgreens was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 was reported on 08/02/2023. The total estimated loss was $642.

Cvs Pharmacy was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on Lyons Road was reported on 08/03/2023. The total estimated loss was $307.

Home Depot was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 was reported on 08/05/2023. The total estimated loss was $677. The subject walked out with power tools.

Kohls was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 was reported on 08/06/2023. The total estimated loss was $798. The subject walked out with multiple items.

Elderly Exploitation

A 99-year-old female was the victim of Elderly Exploitation was reported on 08/03/2023. Elder abuse and exploitation are the subject of an ongoing investigation.

A 94-year-old female was the victim of Elderly Abuse/Neglect at Sawgrass Village 1was reported on 08/04/2023.

Arrests

Greene, Adolphus, Tabise, 35, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence on 08/01/2023.

White, Anthony M., 43, was arrested on a charge of Child Support at 4300 W Atlantic Blvd on 08/06/2023.

Dorsey, Trevor, 42, was arrested on a charge of Grand Theft /Auto at 5400 Lyons Road on 08/07/2023.

Lockhart, Ryan, Lamont, 28, was arrested on a charge of Resist Officer-Obstruct With Violence at 4203 W Atlantic Blvd on 08/07/2023.
