This is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through June 10, 2024, compiled through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents.
Theft
A victim of Theft – From a Building at Wynmoor was reported on 06/08/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,450.
Kohls was a victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at Caligo Crossing at 6950 N State Road 7, which was reported on 06/04/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,153.
Guitar Center was a victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting at 4449 Lyons Road was reported on 06/07/2024. The total estimated loss was $278.
7 Eleven was a victim of Theft – From a Building at 4990 Coconut Creek Parkway, which was reported on 06/07/2024. The total estimated loss was $234. The employee stole on three separate dates.
Walmart was a victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 5571 Hillsboro Blvd, which was reported on 06/08/2024. The total estimated loss was $130.
Industrial Development Co was a victim of Theft—auto Parts/Accessories at Lyons Business Park 6601 Lyons Road, which was reported on 06/05/2024. The total estimated loss was $100.
A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Regency Lakes on Egret Court was reported on 06/08/2024. The total estimated loss was $100. The victim’s truck was entered, and a BMW key fob was taken.
A victim of Vehicle Theft—auto at Baywood 3 on Carambola Circle S was reported on 06/04/2024. A Chevy Camaro ZL1 was stolen overnight.
Marathon was a victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 4811 Coconut Creek Parkway, which was reported on 06/07/2024. The total estimated loss was $60. The subjects stole two cases of beer.
Police Assist
Police Assist – Other Agency on NW 55 Blvd was reported on 06/05/2024. The reporting person wired money to a company in New York, and it turned out to be a fraudulent company.
Police Information at Windmill Park on Lyons Road was reported on 06/06/2024. An animal bite was reported.
Disturbance
A victim of Disturbance – Other at 5050 Wiles Road was reported on 06/06/2024. Allegations were reported at Monarch High School of a student and counselor involved in a physical altercation were denied by both parties.
Animal Complaint
A victim of Animal Complaint – Other at Casa Palma on N State Road 7 was reported on 06/06/2024.
Criminal Mischief
The City Of Coconut Creek was a victim of Criminal Mischief—Government at Hillsboro Greenway Trail 5551 W Hillsboro Blvd, which was reported on 06/06/2024.
Fraud
A victim of Fraud—use Of Credit Card/ATM card at The Hammocks on NW 15 Street was reported on 06/06/2024. The total estimated loss was $92.95.
Arrests
Toliver, Brittany Chanel, 35, was arrested on a charge of Grand Theft >$750<$5000 at 6950 N State Road 7 on 06/04/2024.
Rush, Randrika Leanna, 34, was arrested on a charge of Grand Theft >$750<$5000 at 6950 N State Road 7 on 06/04/2024.
Martinez, Marco Anthony, 31, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence on 06/06/2024.
Zamora, Jose Luiz, 51, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 1st Offense at 6900 NW 44 Avenue on 06/07/2024.
