Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through June 26.

Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories

A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at Sonata on W Sample Road was reported on: 06/23/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,000. – A catalytic converter was taken from a 2015 Goshen Coach.

Theft – From Motor Vehicle

A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle was reported on: 06/23/2023. The total estimated loss was: $357. 

A 51-year-old female was the victim of Theft – From Motor Vehicle at Sonata was reported on: 06/25/2023. The total estimated loss was: $235. 

A 32-year-old female was the victim of Theft – From Motor Vehicle at Solaire, reported on 06/24/2023. The total estimated loss was: $135. 

A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Banyan Bay Apartments on W Atlantic Blvd was reported on: 06/23/2023. The total estimated loss was: $20. 

Suspicious Incident

A Suspicious Incident at Ashton Parc on Allerdale Place was reported on: 06/23/2023. The victim reported someone rubbed fecal matter on her vehicle.

Property-Lost/Stolen

Publix was the victim of Property-Lost/Stolen on W Hillsboro Blvd, reported on 06/23/2023. A female reported Oxycodone pills missing from the Publix Pharmacy.

Fraud – Wire/Computer/Atm

A victim of Fraud – Wire/Computer/Atm on W Sample Road was reported on:06/23/2023.

Aggravated Assault

A 32-year-old male was the victim of Aggravated Assault at Indigo Lakes, reported on:  6/24/2023. The total estimated loss was: $200. 

Theft – Retail/Shoplifting

The Guitar Center was a victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting from Fraud – Use of Credit Cards/Grand Theft on Lyons Road was reported on: 06/24/2023. The total estimated loss was: $5,763. 

Battery – Simple Touch/Strike

A 43-year-old female was the Battery – Simple Touch/Strike victim was reported on: 06/24/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,200.

A victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike at Country Club Lakes was reported on: 06/25/2023. 

Flee/Elude Law Enforcement

A victim of Flee/Elude Law Enforcement on Lyons Road was reported on:  06/25/2023. Police attempted a traffic stop, and the vehicle fled.

Weapons – Carry Concealed Firearm

A victim of Weapons – Carry Concealed Firearm on Lyons Road was reported on:  06/25/2023. A traffic stop yielded a juvenile unlawfully possessing a firearm. 

Arrests

Williams, Braddy, Lee, 65, was arrested on a charge of Disorderly Conduct at 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway on 06/23/2023.

Hall, Willie, Cecil, 46, was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Suspended/Cancelled/Revoked Third at 5000 Atlantic Blvd on 06/23/2023.

Hayes, Paul, Keon, 33, was arrested on a charge of Petite Theft at 4600 Coconut Creek Pkwy on 06/24/2023.

Benedetto, Brandon, Edward, 32, was arrested on a charge of Assault/With Intent To Commit A Felony on 06/24/2023.
