Coconut Creek Crime Update: Man Calls Cops When Neighbor Sprays Him With A Hose

Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through September 25.

Theft

A 26-year-old female was the victim of Theft From a Motor Vehicle – Multiple – at Elliot at Cocoplum on Cocoplum Circle on 09/19/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,900.

A 35-year-old female was the victim of Theft From a Motor Vehicle – Multiple – at Baywood Village II on 09/19/2023. The total estimated loss was $500.

A 24-year-old male was the victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Tradewinds Park on W Sample Road on 09/19/2023. The total estimated loss was $250. A smash-and-grab theft was reported.

A 56-year-old male was the victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at CocoParc on Lyons Road on 09/20/2023. The total estimated loss was $400.

A 30-year-old female was the victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Karanda 3 on Cocoplum Circle on 09/20/2023.

Al Hendrickson Toyota was the victim of Theft – Auto on W Sample Road on 09/21/2023.

A 30-year-old male was the victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Advenir South on Cocoplum Circle was reported on 09/22/2023. The total estimated loss was $300. A firearm was taken from an unlocked vehicle.

A 39-year-old male was the victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle on NW 2 Court on 09/22/2023. The total estimated loss was $800. Unknown suspect(s) stole an iPad from a car.

Theft – Retail/Shoplifting

Walgreens was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on W Hillsboro Blvd on 09/20/2023. The total estimated loss was $605.

Home Depot was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 on 09/21/2023. The total estimated loss was $530.

Battery

An 81-year-old male was the victim of  Battery – Simple Touch/Strike on NW 9 Court on 09/19/2023. The victim reported that his neighbor sprayed him with a hose.

A 43-year-old female was the victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike at Gingertree on 09/24/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,000.

Fraud

A 72-year-old female was a Fraud/Wire/Computer/ATM victim at Bank of America victim on 09/21/2023. The total estimated loss was $3,800.

A 76-year-old male was a Fraud/Wire/Computer/ATM victim at Wynmoor on Antigua Terrace on 09/21/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,505.

A 67-year-old male was the victim of Fraud/Worthless Check/obtaining property at Hale Plaza – Regions Bank on Coconut Creek Parkway on 09/22/2023. The total estimated loss was $10,000. A fraudulent check was cashed.

Property-Lost/Stolen

An 89-year-old male was the victim Property-Lost/Stolen at Wynmoor on Cayman Way on 09/23/2023. The total estimated loss was $4,000.

Arrests

Miller, Clayton, Joel, 40, was arrested on a charge of Theft Retail/Shoplifting at 4450 N State Road 7 on 09/19/2023.

Paul, Fritzson, 38, was arrested on a Resist Officer W/O Violence charge at 2720 W Broward Blvd on 09/19/2023.

Downey, Michael, Allen, 32, was arrested on a charge of Theft Retail/Shoplifting at 4550 N State Road 7 on 09/21/2023.

Thomas, Nashawn, Markel, 19, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Dating Violence charge at 3907 Crescent Creek Drive on 9/21/2023.

Camachofarfan, Luren, Aron, 32, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence charge at 408 Silverstream Lane on 9/23/2023.
