This is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through July 8, 2024, compiled through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents.

Property-Lost/Stolen

A victim of Property Stolen on Eagle Cay Circle was reported on 07/02/2024

Fraud

Bank Of America was the victim of Fraud – Worthless Check/Obtain Property at 4801 Coconut Creek Parkway was reported on 07/02/2024.

A victim of Fraud—other at Coral Pointe on NW 57 Drive was reported on 07/06/2024. A roofing company took payment but never started work.

Theft

Sephora was the victim of a Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 4455 Lyons Road, which was reported on 07/05/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,157.

Home Depot was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 4550 N State Road 7, which was reported on 07/04/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,144.

Pet Supermarket was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 4500 N State Road 7, which was reported on 07/03/2024. The total estimated loss was $413.

Walgreens was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 6390 N State Road 7, which was reported on 07/03/2024. The total estimated loss was $232.

Home Depot was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 4550 N State Road 7, which was reported on 07/03/2024. The total estimated loss was $224.

A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Wynmoor on Lucaya Bend was reported on 07/05/2024. A vehicle was broken into.

A victim of Theft—from a Building to a public Storage on Wiles Road—was reported on 07/02/2024. Thieves burglarized a storage unit.

A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto was reported on 07/05/2024.

A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Evergreen Lakes on Wiles Road was reported on 07/05/2024.

Fire

A victim of Fire- Structure/Dumpster/Vehicle at Coconut Creek High School on NW 44 Avenue was reported on 07/02/2024. The fire caused property damage.

A victim of a Fire—structure/Dumpster/Vehicle at 4850 Wiles Road was reported on 07/05/2024. A bank roof caught fire because of fireworks.

Criminal Mischief

A victim of Criminal Mischief – Other at Golden Raintree on NW 40 Avenue was reported on 07/03/2024.

Child Abuse

A victim of Child Abuse was reported on 07/03/2024.

A victim of Child Abuse was reported on 07/05/2024.

Trespass

A victim of a Trespass Warning on Coco Lake Drive was reported on 07/04/2024. Two fishermen were issued trespass warnings for the Coco Lake Community.

Arrests

Davila, Lynn Inez, 57, was arrested on 07/02/2024 on a charge of Grand Theft—greater than $100,000 at 2003 Granada Drive.

Harris, Lashante Darice, 35, was arrested on a charge of Dui 1 Offense at 3599 Lyons Road/W Sample Road on 07/04/2024.

Leonorozco, Erika Johana, 38, was arrested on a charge of Petit Theft 1 Degree Property $100 To < $750 at 5571 Hillsboro Blvd on 07/05/2024.

Vincze, Terry Lee, 52, was arrested on a Dui 3rd Offense Over 10 Years charge at 4000 NW 54 Avenue on 07/06/2024.
