Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through December 25.
Fraud
A victim of Fraud – Other at Regions Bank on Coconut Creek Parkway on 12/19/2023. The total estimated loss was $4,350. A fraudulent check was cashed.
A victim of Fraud – Other at Chase on 12/22/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,000.
Theft
A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at South Creek on 12/23/2023. The total estimated loss was $6,030.
A victim of Theft – From a Building at Preserve Cypress Hammock on W Hillsboro Blvd on 12/21/2023. The total estimated loss was $5,320.
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at Coco Parc on Lyons Road on 12/20/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,000. The wheels were stolen off of a Honda Civic Sport.
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at Baywood Village II on NW 22 Street on 12/23/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,600.
Sephora was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on Lyons Road on 12/20/2023. The total estimated loss was $699. Four females entered the store, stole makeup, and exited without paying.
Walmart was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on Hillsboro Blvd on 12/21/2023. The total estimated loss was $200.
False Imprisonment
A victim of False Imprisonment at the Hampton Inn on N State Road 7 on 12/21/2023.
Burglary
A victim of Burglary Conveyance at Pond Apple IV on Carambola Circle S on 12/21/2023.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance at Karanda II on Carambola Circle S on 12/21/2023. Theft from a US Postal Mailbox was reported.
A victim of Burglary W/ Assault at Coconut Palm Club Apartments on 12/23/2023. A burglary w/ battery was reported.
Electronic Harassment
A victim of Electronic Harassment at the Bell Apartments on W Hillsboro Blvd on 12/21/2023. Electronic harassment via voicemail and text by a known subject was reported.
Battery
A victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike at Coco Point on NW 6 Street on 12/23/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,000.
Arrests
Auguste, Jennica, 19, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault W/ Intent Commit Felony – Domestic Violence at 1951 Lyons Road on 12/19/2023.
Weeks, Maria Nicolle, 19, was arrested on a Burglary Unoccupied Structure Unarmed Principal In The 1st charge at 4401 Carambola Cir S on 12/21/2023.
Martins, Adriele, 37, was arrested on a Theft – Retail/Shoplifting charge at 5571 Hillsboro Blvd on 12/21/2023.
Williams, Michael, 55, was arrested on a charge of Writ Of Arrest And Commitment at 2697 Carambola Cir N on 12/21/2023.
Levell, Alexis, Quartez, 28, was arrested on a Suspended Driver’s License 1 Offense charge at 5400 Lyons Road on 12/22/2023.
