Coconut Creek Crime Update: 12-Year-Old Strikes Officer in Chest After Fight At School

Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through October 30.

Theft

Al Hendrickson Toyota was the victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto on W Sample Road on 10/24/2023.

A 43-year-old female was the victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto, a stolen Infiniti Q50, at Country Lakes on Millstream Lane on 10/25/2023.

A 56-year-old male was the victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Willow Bend on NW 40 Terrace on 10/26/2023.

A 32-year-old male was the victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Township Estates on NW 40th Terrace on 10/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $325. A Theft from Auto was reported, and a firearm was missing.

A 48-year-old female was the victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle on Wiles Road on 10/24/2023. The total estimated loss was $224.

Sephora was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on Lyons Road on 10/24/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,662.

Kohls was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 on 10/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,389.

Randazzo Upper School was the victim of Theft – From Building at Coco Parc – Randazzo School on NW 36 Avenue on 10/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,300.

Elderly Abuse/Neglect

An 89-year-old female was the victim of Elderly Abuse/Neglect at Wynmoor on 10/26/2023.

Battery

A victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike at Lyons Creek Middle School on Sol Press Blvd on 10/26/2023. A 12-year-old female struck an officer in the chest after fighting another female at dismissal. The charges against the student included Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting w/Violence, and interference with School Administration and or functions.

Fraud

A 54-year-old male was the victim of Fraud – Wire/Computer/ATM at Chase on W Copans Road on 10/27/2023. The total estimated loss was $23,000.

Arrests

Williams, Telisha, Shiquitta, 31, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence on 3974 Cocoplum on 10/24/2023.

Ramirez, Zeus, 20, was arrested on a charge of Grand Theft Of Firearm at 6800 NW 39 Avenue on 10/24/2023.

Salamanca, Natalia Pereira, 42, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 1 Offense on 7500 N State Road 7 on 10/26/2023.

Turnbull, Scott, William, 60, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 1 Offense at 2395 NW 36 Avenue on 10/26/2023.

King, Aubreeyanah Quatteria, Ronai, 24, was arrested on a charge of Grand Theft>$300<$5000 at 6950 N State Road 7 on 10/26/2023.

White, Kenneth, Emanuel, 31, was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Suspended/Cancelled/Revoked Third Or S at 3100 Hillsboro Blvd on 10/27/2023.

Elder, Jarrett Ashley, 27, was arrested on a charge of Trespass Property, Not Structure Or Convey at 4211 NW 43 Street on 10/28/2023.

Smith, Alvin, Antion, 47, was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Suspended/Cancelled/Revoked Third Or S at 3100 Dr Martin Luther King Jr on 10/28/2023.
