Arc Culinary is bringing global flavors to the table with an upcoming four-course dinner that blends Asian and Latin influences while supporting programs for people with disabilities.
The “East Meets West” Chef Experience Dinner will be held Thursday, Sept. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen, 10250 NW 53rd St. in Sunrise.
The dinner is part of Arc Culinary’s Chef Experience Dinner series, which gives guests an intimate dining experience centered on specially designed multicourse menus.
For East Meets West, diners will be treated to a menu that combines ingredients and techniques from different culinary traditions.
The first course is an elevated Nikkei tuna tiradito prepared with yuzu, aji amarillo, sesame oil, soy and cilantro.
The second course features a glazed Asian-style pork belly taco served on corn tortillas with sugar, ginger and daikon.
The third course continues the fusion theme with fried surf-and-turf rice featuring fragrant jasmine rice, shrimp, mussels, beef loin tips and chicken, along with sofrito, achiote, ginger and scallions. A dessert will complete the four-course meal.
Beyond the food, the Chef Experience Dinner series supports a larger mission.
